Coaches?

Caravans?

Cyclists?.........................Now whos ranting!!!!! Cheesy

Valid point though. When we lived in the Highlands, it was the single track roads with 'PA-SS-ING PLACES' Huh Huh that caused us the most headaches, particularly with either the lorry horse box, or trailer box. Could write a book on the tourists, especially the foreign ones...ahh they were the days!!!!!

Guessing there's not many bikers on here then.  I used to use the bike as a daily commute, but got knocked off a few times with folk 'who didnt see me' then I decided to give up and go back to bus/car before I had anything serious.

Also had folk pulling out infront of me when I drove trucks, used to be a nightmare up north on the A roads when ur limited to 40/56 and they sit at 35/50.  As the highway code says ur not allowed to bully folk in smaller vehicles, I never sat 2 inches off there bumper with full beam on  Roll Eyes

lol, used to have great fun up at glen etive. you know where it says let other vehicles pass you using the PASSING PLACES and the common sense approach of dont bunch up

convoy of 20+ cars with the inevitable caravan in there (usualy at the front) all bumper to bumper driving along the track, meets a convoy coming in the opposite direction, again all bumper to bumper (even better if they have a caravan also) thats a chance for a 3 course meal never mind a picnic as you watch them sort that out lol. oh the memories....... Grin Grin Grin
rs in the
then where theres a passing place you get the dafties setting up camp for the weekend, parking up to a dozen cars for the whole weekend next to the sign saying passing place....must be a lot of dyslexic folk travel up there..... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
